About Recombinant Herpes Zoster Vaccine (CHO Cell)

Herpes zoster (HZ) is a group of infectious diseases mainly affecting nerves and skin caused by reactivation of varicella-zoster virus (VZV). It is characterized by clusters of blisters in a zonal distribution, accompanied by significant neuralgia, which becomes more severe with advancing age. The disease is common in patients of advanced age, immunodeficiency, and use of immunosuppressive drugs, and there is a certain recurrence rate. There is currently no effective treatment for herpes zoster, and vaccination is the preferred and effective means of preventing herpes zoster.
